Information we collect and how we use it

When you request a quote or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, property location, project details, communication preference, and photographs you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, prepare and discuss a lighting proposal, schedule and provide services, maintain business records, and improve our website and customer experience. Our website and hosting providers may also collect limited technical information, such as browser type, device information, IP address, referring pages, and site activity, as needed to operate, secure, and improve the website.

Text messages and email

If you separately choose text-message delivery, Exterior Lighting Solution may send messages about your quote request, appointments, project updates, and related services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We may send one non-marketing confirmation after an opt-out request. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in the message or contact us directly. Transactional messages needed to respond to a request or provide services may still be sent where permitted.

Sharing, retention, security, and your choices

We may share information with employees, installers, contractors, and service providers that help us respond to inquiries and operate the business, including Webflow for website hosting and forms, Make for workflow automation, and Twilio for text messaging. Those providers process information for the services they perform for us. We do not sell personal information or share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, our business records, and legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
